home What about if you have already been a victim of street crime?Contact Victim Support Wandsworth:
· We will not expect you to name the offender or go to the police if you don’t want to. · We can help you by arranging a meeting so you can talk to someone about what has happened and how you are feeling about it. · The meeting can be at our office, at your home or somewhere else like your school. · We can help with giving you information such as helping you to feel safe again. · We can provide information about other agencies and refer you on if you want. · We can help with your school, the police, going to court or other agencies you may have been in touch with due to the crime. · We can help you to apply for compensation if you have been a victim of violent crime and your injuries (physical or psychological) last longer than 6 weeks. · We can refer you on to our counselling service if you feel you might benefit from this.
