List of Other Agencies for Young People

Anti Bullying Campaign – 020 7378 1446 (Free): provides someone to talk to for 5-16 year olds who are being bullied and their parents/carers.

Big Brothers and Sisters – 020 7228 2335: Monday-Friday 9.30-5pm. Mentoring scheme for 6-16 year olds from lone parent families. Mentors spend a couple of hours a week doing everyday things with their mentee.

Childline – 0800 1111: www.childline.org.uk: 24 hour, 365 days a year. No problem too big or too small. You often have to keep trying before you get through.

Children’s Legal Centre – 01206 873 820: 10-12.30pm and 2-4.30 pm Monday-Friday. Free advice and information on legal matters.

Connexions – 020 7326 8700: Advice for 13-19 year olds on everything from careers to bullying.

Get Connected – 0808 808 4994: www.getconnected.org.uk: Open 1pm –11pm every day. Finding young people the best help whatever the problem.

NSPCC – 0800 800 500: www.nspcc.org.uk: 24 hour helpline for anyone concerned about a child or young person at risk of abuse. Provides counselling, information and advice.

Safe CDA – 020 8871 4494: Monday-Friday 10-5.30. Drugs information and advice for users, family and friends.

ShOUT! – 020 8675 0306:  www.shoutyouthgroup.org: Friday 7-9.30pm. A space for young people who are questioning their sexuality to make and meet friends.
