Young Persons' Service

Victim Support Wandsworth provides a free and confidential service to young people aged between 10 and 19 years. This means that anything we are told will not be repeated to anyone else, unless we are told to by the young person, or if the young person is at serious risk of harm.

We have specially trained staff and volunteers who are able to support young people who have been affected by crime and live in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The crime does not have to have been reported to the police and can include bullying.

Victim Support Wandsworths Young Persons' Service can -

  • Arrange to meet the young person (and their parent/carer where necessary) at their home or at our office in Clapham Junction
  • Give the young person help, such as how to help the young person feel safe again
  • Provide information about other agencies and putting young people in touch with these agencies
  • Help young people with the police, going to court, school and compensation claims

Most importantly, Victim Support Wandsworth offers a safe space for young people to discuss their issues and how it makes them feel.

For more information, please call Jennifer on 020 7223 1234, or e-mail jennifer@vswandsworth.org.uk.
