Counselling Service

VSWCS aims to provide a safe and confidential professional service to those affected by crime.

Clients might find that the event has triggered painful emotional memories and feelings from past or recent times.  Their lives and relationships with family and friends might be affected.

Counselling can help with emotional, psychological and behavioural problems such as addictions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, feelings of isolation and loneliness, loss and bereavement, confidence building, thoughts of self-harm and anxiety (panic) attacks.

Counselling at VSWCS provides a longer term and more in depth opportunity for the clients to come to terms with the affects of crime on their lives.  It is a safe and supportive place for clients to talk about their feelings with a non-judgemental, and responsive listener.
