Facilities at court

There is a separate entrance for witnesses to use when they come to court, this is away from the main entrance that the defendants use.  We also have a separate witness waiting area for witnesses away from the main defendant waiting area. 

Within the witness waiting area there are disabled toilet facilities and the Witness Service provides tea, coffee and biscuit refreshments as well as newspapers and magazines to read.  This is a no smoking room, however you are able to go smoke outside the building, just by the witness entrance to the court building, which is undercover.

The Witness Service offers support to all witnesses and their friends and family when they come to court, so please feel free to bring family members with you on the day.
